GUYS! I'M FINALLY FREAKING DONE!! ;~;
This picture took so long... I don't even.. amg.
But I lovelovelove the final result. Like, I'm so proud. Justyah.
This is version one, my favorite; I felt the checker-background was too hard on the eye, but the person I colored this pic for liked the checkers better soooo... two versions.

Time taken: About uh... 30+ hours. ;~;
Program Used: GIMP 2.8 (UPDATED VERSION BABY! I started this in 2.6)
Tool Used: Mouse lol. I switched between a 0% hardness and 100% hardness round brush, of varying sizes. And yah.
